On-Chain Identity

On-chain refers to something being on the blockchain. On-chain identity refers to tokenized pieces of information about users that are based on their off-chain identities. Once a user's identity documents have been verified, they are considered verified credentials, our on-chain identities only contain an asynchronous (non-reversible) hash of the user's off-chain identity information that is used as a cryptographic proof whenever a customer responds to a request for information.
