Centralized Identity

When users log on to a website that stores their log in credentials on the same server as that host the website, they are using centralized identity. Users can change their details with the website, but those details are managed by the website, and if the website were to go away, they would no longer have access to those credentials.

Centralized identity was the first distinct phases of digital identities.
